From Noise to Structure
(more to come soon)
The rise of information technology has led to a flattening of reality under the prism of structured data. This data contains no affect, no ideology and it is from its interpretation, its formatting and its aggregation that its ineligibility emerges.
This series of videos with sound explores this notion of structuring a formless mass. In the world of sound, white noise contains all the frequencies of the audible spectrum and therefore potentially all possible sound forms. Here, a set of particles in constant motion crystallise, for a moment, into an organised structure, before returning to their state of diffuse, instable noise.
