Exhibition: Résonances - Iannis Xenakis

About the Project

EN: During the summer of 2015, I had the chance, with two other students, to digitalize all Iannis Xenakis’ architecture archive. We then decided to create an exhibition in order to communicate about some poorly known projects as well as our understanding of his work.
Through three of his architecture works – the Philips Pavillon, the Diatope and the project for the Cité de la Musique- the exhibition tends to redraw Xenakis’ design process and shows his pluridisciplinary approach of creation. Those projects, designed in very different contexts, are the occasion to explore various sides of his work: randomness, abstraction, geometry, composition, sound spatiality, etc.
